WorldMonitor will always be free and open source.

The full platform — the interactive 3D globe, 30+ real-time data layers spanning conflicts, natural disasters, markets & commodities, aviation tracking, maritime AIS, cyber threats, climate anomalies, internet infrastructure, satellites, and more, remains completely free with BYOK (bring-your-own-key) access to all 22 upstream data services. The desktop app and the entire codebase stay open source.

What Pro adds is convenience and depth: a single WorldMonitor subscription key replaces 20+ individual API keys you'd otherwise need to provision yourself, faster data refresh intervals (sub-minute vs 5–15 min), AI-powered country intelligence briefings, delivery channels (Slack, Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, email alerts), deeper equity research with financials, analyst targets, and valuation metrics, and priority support.

The API tier is a separate product for developers — programmatic REST access to WorldMonitor's aggregated data with usage-based pricing, key management, and per-key rate limits.

Enterprise is for organizations needing custom deployments, SLAs, dedicated infrastructure, and volume licensing.

The monetization philosophy is straightforward: charge for convenience, depth, speed, and scale — never gate the core situational awareness platform.
