Description
Problem
There are new updates on Solana all the time that push the network forward, potentially break usecases, and even open up newer usecases. We at Foundation try to push out these updates to as much people as possible through twitter, DMs, Slack, etc. The problem with this method is that it is:
- A lot of effort
- Never going to get complete coverage as we grow
- Large partners may miss the update due to the fleeting comms
- Multiple places to look at for updates
Solution
Create a 1-stop-shop for viewing potential future upgrades on the network, /upgrades that is a blog/news-style page hosting the various upcoming upgrades to Solana. This /upgrades pages would live under the current network umbrella. /upgradeswould also have a link to/proposals` that is hosting a place to read the SIMDs that are currently being discussed.
A wireframe suggestion for /upgrades:
The SIMD proposal page could be similar to this news-style page. The /upgrades page could then be linked throughout the site everytime an upgrade is mentioned.
